🦷 Full Denture Rehabilitation | Restoring Function, Retention & Smile
This patient presented with a slanted and collapsed bite after wearing her old dentures for many years. She wanted to achieve a better smile while continuing to use dentures.
This case presented several challenges:
• Reconstructing the bite towards a more ideal position
• Improving the stability and retention of the new denture
• Restoring a natural and harmonious smile
We carefully reconstructed the occlusion to guide the lower jaw towards a centric position. The vertical dimension was increased to compensate for the patient’s prognathic jaw, while allowing the anterior teeth of the new upper denture to achieve an edge-to-edge relationship with the existing lower denture.
The result is a new upper denture with excellent retention, improved function and a more pleasing smile.

🦷 全口义齿重建｜重建咬合、稳定性与笑容

我们通过重新设计及重建咬合，引导下颌向较理想的正中关系（centric position）移动。同时适当提高垂直咬合高度，以配合患者原有的下颌前突关系，并让新上颌假牙的前牙与原有下颌假牙形成切对切（edge-to-edge）的咬合关系。
最终完成的新上颌假牙拥有良好的固位力、稳定性及更自然的笑容。
最重要的是，患者对新假牙的效果非常满意，也重新找回了自信的笑容。❤️
