Life has been busy in the most meaningful way.

Patients who needed my care, students who needed guidance, and my family who kept me grounded meant social media took a quiet pause.

Grateful for the privilege of this work, and returning with renewed purpose. 💕

Crossbite in Kids - is not normal and will not self-correct in most cases.

Crossbite refers to a condition when the upper teeth bite inside the lower teeth.

When left untreated, it can lead to:

1. Uneven jaw growth
2. Facial asymmetry
3. Chipped teeth / worn out teeth
4. TMJ (Jaw Joint) problems (in some cases)

The good news?
This can be treated early. Interceptive orthodontics can guide proper jaw development and prevent future complications.

Any doubts, talk to your dentist or orthodontist today.

Sometimes, beauty lies in the finer details.

This aligner (Invisalign) transformation was not just about straight teeth. It was about balance, harmony and function.

✅Wider Arch for a fuller, more youthful smile
✅Non-extraction (no teeth removal approach to preserve natural facial support)
✅Midline correction for improved symmetry
✅More even bite - better function and long-term stability

Aligners work differently from traditional braces. In today's digital revolution in orthodontics, it is crucial to understand these differences in systems, harness the benefits while being mindful of the drawbacks and ultimately deliver the best outcomes for every patient.

As a braces specialist, I’m always on the lookout for innovations that truly make a difference—and the Maxillary Skeletal Expander (MSE) is a game changer. This amazing device does so much more than create space for teeth. It helps: • Improve breathing and overall airway health • Correct narrow jaws without extractions • Enhance facial harmony and confidenceI’ve seen firsthand how it transforms smiles and lives, and I’m so excited to be able to offer this non-invasive option for my patients. If you’re wondering if this expander is right for you or your patients, feel free to reach out to me.“Changing the way people breathe, one expansion at a time”

Ideally I would think it is important to like the people you work with especially if you have to see them on a Sunday. No one can work alone and it is important to have a team who understands the vision and objectives of the establishment.

Grateful to my team of dental surgery assistants who are here with me today.

Part II Interview with THR Raaga - BAD BREATH

Bad breath can be more than just a temporary inconvenience.

It can be embarrassing and make people avoid you, leading to lost job opportunities and even strained social relationships.

In some cases, it can be disruptive, affecting your confidence and quality of life.

If you’re concerned about bad breath, it’s important to address the underlying causes early.

Whether it’s poor oral hygiene, gum disease, or a medical condition, a visit to your dentist can help identify and treat the problem.

Treatment in Progress

Within 6 months, we were able to align his upper and lower teeth, widen his upper and lower arches and correct his midlines.

No teeth removal. Just interproximal stripping at a few lower contact points.

Stay consistent with your aligners for the best results.

Many patients delay dental treatment due to concerns about cost. However, the perception of dental expenses can often be misleading.

Addressing a small problem early is usually much more affordable than waiting until it worsens, leading to additional complications and higher costs.

One effective way to save on dental expenses is by visiting your dentist at least once a year for regular check-ups.

This preventive care can help catch issues early, ultimately reducing the need for more expensive treatments later.

Orthodontic correction of rotated teeth.

Rotated premolars take up more space in the dental arch. Correcting the rotation often helps with space gain as well.

The images attached shows the derotation of 14 and 45 (upper right first premolar & lower right second premolar) with bondable buttons & powerchain.

In the lower arch, one side was corrected first followed by the other (35 derotation has just started).

Rotations are often corrected early in the treatment as in order to keep them stable.

From the time I started my own practice, I have been dealing with a lot of young people. Since every child is different, every experience with them on my chair has taught me a lot.

Most are pretty cooperative, and I am yet to see them having “white coat phobia”. Truth is, dentists rarely wear white coats and I just wear them because I have them (more like a coat or additional accessory), and probably to desensitise the kids a little bit in the process. 😄

Whenever I get a chance, I love to give a child a book. I would love receiving books myself to keep me motivated about anything at all. Rewards work well as motivation and rewards need not always be an “object or gift”. It could be anything at all.

As a dentist / orthodontist, it has been a pleasure to be a part of all these children’s lives even in the smallest way possible. ❤️
