As a Local Sabahan growing up, we have all been disappointed to a certain degree of extend of our surroundings. Basic amenities such as roads in a bad condition, experiences of shortage of electricity and water supplies.

Many of our childhood friends have left for overseas and to semenanjung in search of better job opportunities and quality of life. But while it's easy to criticise and lay blame on others, have we taken our own responsibility as Sabahans to build Sabah?

As a Dentist, opportunities to work at bigger develop cities such as KL, Singapore, HK, Australia, NZ arises. BUT, What is more fulfilling and joyful then to return to KK city and other Rural districts to serve our own people? To take baby steps in playing our Little roles into helping to build Sabah in no matter what capacity we are called by God to do, whether it's healthcare or other industries. Sabah needs a truly UNITED rakyat to build it up together not just for us, but for many future generations. As the sayings go: UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL. Happy Election Day Sabah!!
