In late 2020, our clinic first opened its door in Kuching, Sarawak and has been continuously catering to all dental needs and desires ever since. Our team of professionals is equipped with many years of clinical experience working in various clinics, with the highest quality of certified materials and modern equipment to provide orthodontic treatment in an environment that is comfortable and trustworthy. Our primary service includes performing orthodontic treatments using conventional and self-ligating braces to correct misaligned teeth and jaws. We can improve facial aesthetics by fixing crooked teeth, abnormal bites, and interdental gaps and preventing future dental health problems. Also, impaired speech, swallowing, and chewing functions will improve. Introducing a brand new treatment within our service, we also provide Invisalign that offers a revolutionary method to straighten your teeth and correct issues with your bite without braces. We create customised aligners using transparent plastic material to be worn daily for the desired result through advanced medical imaging technology. Before working in Smile Then Dental Specialist Clinic, our clinic founder Dr Then Poh Kiun obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University Malaya in 2003. In 2010, she also gained prestigious qualification by completing her orthodontic specialist training in MSc in Orthodontics from King’s College, London. In the same year, she also obtained her Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Until 2019, she worked as a full-time orthodontist with the Ministry of Health before venturing into the private sector. At Smile Then Dentist Clinic, we believe that a better life begins with a beautiful smile. Under our care, we are all aboard to provide you with orthodontic treatment that is beyond your expectations for a guaranteed perfect smile.
