Sometimes accident happen , and sometimes it might hit your teeth. It happened 3 years ago to this girl when she was 11 years old . She presented to me with a broken front tooth with nerve exposed and mobility. At that time, we decided to try preserve the tooth vitality using biodentine and composite filling rather than root canal treatment. A recent 3 years follow up shows a healthy front tooth and most importantly, it’s still alive ! Feels good to save a tooth .

Invisalign can be treated at a very young age . This cheerful young boy present to us with a protruded upper teeth and retruded mandible . After 16 months Invisalign first journey with mandibular advancement , here we are with the result. Patient is very compliant , listen to all the instruction carefully execute them perfectly . Part of the reason we have a successful treatment result thanks to this wonderful boy . Hope that we are all blessed with these angels everyday .

Can we bring a dead tooth back to life ? Now we can ! Some tooth deserve a second chance . In this case 13year old present with a chronic dental abscess secondary to non vital leong’s premolar , complicated with open apex . In this case we did Revascularization to bring the teeth back to life so that we can continue to grow the root longer . The choice is made because it is a young patient we decided to not remove the teeth but at the same time root canal treatment will be challenging. This is 2 years review and we can see that the root has grown and the apex has closed . Dentistry is constantly evolving who knows one day we can grow a teeth back ?

Case of an immediate implant of lower first molar to replace a fractured teeth. In this case , patient came with crack tooth syndrome and was in terrible pain each time she bite. We have decided to remove the tooth and replace with an implant on the same day . In the 2nd picture we can see where the fracture took place . After the implant placement we let the area heal . Patient then returned and we took a scan to design for the final crown. The Lab then milled the crown for us to be installed in the patient mouth . Now she have another tooth to chew her food . 🥳👏🏻

At KL DENTAL, we love to see our returning customer grow. In this case back in 2018, this teenager asked her parents to bring him to us for orthodontic treatment . After that he regularly returns for follow up and maintenance. We have observed oral hygiene has improved and maintained in good health after orthodontic treatment .Patient has grown from a innocent teenager, to a macho young man, and now a grown up stepping into the society . Looking forward to many more years to come .
