Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) is a foaming agent found in many toothpastes but it can be harsh on the oral mucosa. It can trigger painful mouth ulcers and people who are always getting it should check that their toothpaste does not have sodium lauryl sulfate. Oradex toothpastes are SLS Free, using only foams that are gentle on the gingiva, palate and surface of the tongue.
