Established in December 2000, Teh Orthodontic Dental Clinic specializes in dento-facial orthopaedic and orthodontic treatment (dental braces). We align teeth to an aesthetically pleasant and functionally effective position, while improving facial appearance. In some young children, interceptive treatments are carried out to prevent/ minimize the development of severe malocclusion in later years. Treatment involve the use of removable orthodontic appliances, functional appliances, fixed metal or porcelain orthodontic appliances (braces), clear aligner (eg. In certain cases, orthognathic surgery (surgical correction of jaws) may be required.

Here's something patients don't always expect: this relapse had nothing to do with skipping retainer wear. The fixed retainer was in place the whole time — but wire distortion or breakage can happen quietly, without anyone noticing, until teeth start to shift. 😮‍💨 That's exactly why we don't rely on a bonded wire alone. A removable clear (Essix) retainer worn on top adds a layer of protection that catches problems the fixed wire might miss.
