🦷 Wisdom Teeth: Keep Them or Remove Them? 🤔

Wisdom teeth usually appear in our late teens or early 20s. While some people have no problems at all, others may experience pain, swelling, gum infection, food getting trapped, or even damage to nearby teeth.

📌 Not every wisdom tooth needs to be removed ! 👍 The best way to know is to have your dentist examine your teeth and take an X-ray if needed.

💡 Having wisdom tooth pain or discomfort? Don’t wait until it gets worse. Book a dental check-up with us and find out what’s best for your smile.

Many people drink lemon water because they think it’s healthy, nutritious, and will whiten their teeth. But drinking it regularly can lead to tooth sensitivity.

🍋 The reason is simple. Lemons are highly acidic. Frequent exposure to this acid gradually wears away your tooth enamel, a process called dental erosion. Once enamel is lost, it cannot grow back.

📌 As the enamel thins, the dentin underneath becomes exposed, causing sensitivity to hot, cold, sweet, and sour foods. If the damage gets worse, you may even need an expensive root canal treatment.

The good news? Lemon water isn’t your only source of vitamin C. Fruits like strawberries provide plenty of vitamin C while being gentler on your teeth.

👍 So, enjoy lemon water in moderation, and here are some precautions to protect your smile.

💡 Protect your smile:
✅ Drink lemon water through a straw when possible.
✅ Avoid sipping it slowly over a long period.
✅ Rinse your mouth with plain water afterward.
❌ Don’t brush your teeth immediately—wait about 30 minutes to allow your enamel to recover.

If your teeth have become sensitive, don’t ignore it. Early treatment can help prevent further enamel damage and keep your smile healthy for years to come.
