“So… does that mean I can’t get an implant?”

Not necessarily.

Before we decide, we’ll check your X-ray and have a look at the bone clinically.

If there’s enough bone, we may be able to place the implant directly.

But if the bone isn’t enough, we may need to do a bone graft first to build up the area.

This helps us create enough support to place the right size of implant.

So don’t worry if you’re told your bone isn’t ideal at the beginning.

We just need to see what’s going on first.

Every case is different, and there’s usually a way forward.

Before we plan an implant, we look at 3 things:

🦷 Your mouth — is there enough space for the implant to sit properly?

😴 You slept for 8 hours... so why are you still tired?
