A severely broken tooth root doesn’t always mean a long waiting period before replacement.

In this case, the tooth was deemed hopeless due to a fractured root. Instead of extracting the tooth and waiting several months for healing, we performed:

This patient presented with advanced periodontitis, severe bone loss, and multiple teeth with hopeless prognosis. Due to the extent of destruction and mobility, the affected teeth were removed to eliminate infection and restore oral health.

An acrylic removable denture was fabricated to replace the missing teeth. This provided the patient with:

*Improved chewing function

*Better speech

*Restored smile and facial support

A comfortable and affordable transitional option while healing takes place

Acrylic dentures are an excellent immediate solution after extractions, especially in cases of advanced periodontal disease. Once healing is complete, the patient may consider more definitive long-term options such as implant-supported restorations.
