Early interceptive Orthodontic Treatment
Why did we start early instead of waiting?

Patient’s front teeth were protrusive, which increased risk for teeth injury in case of falling down. If this wasn’t treated early, patient would probably need a root canal if any accident ever happened.

She also had deep bite, whereby her upper front teeth overlapped the lower teeth for almost 90%.

With a twin block appliance, and also patient’s persistence (this is the most important!), we finished her case with added bonus of longer chin that has developed along the way & also a normal bite that’s no longer traumatic. ✌️
