另一位五岁娃儿因为一些睡眠呼吸问题，和严重的睡眠磨牙来找小编进行早期牙床评估。娃儿有严重的牙床狭窄，乳牙也已经稍微凌乱了。经过了5个月的牙床扩弓，Mummy说娃的睡眠品质改善很多，几乎也不磨牙了~

睡眠呼吸问题不仅仅是牙床狭窄造成。一些肌肉功能失衡，扁桃腺/腺样体肿大等等也会造成该问题。需经过耳鼻喉科医生进行评估更为恰当。

A 5-year-old child came to us for an early dental arch assessment due to some sleep-related breathing issues and severe teeth grinding during sleep. The child had a severely narrow dental arch, and the primary teeth were already showing slight crowding.

After 5 months of arch expansion, Mummy shared that the child’s sleep quality had improved significantly, and the teeth grinding had almost completely stopped~

Sleep-related breathing problems are not caused by a narrow dental arch alone. Other factors, such as imbalances in oral muscle function and enlarged tonsils or adenoids, may also contribute to these problems. Therefore, an assessment by an ENT specialist is recommended for a more appropriate and comprehensive evaluation.

露龈笑需要在对的年龄给予治疗，太早或太晚的年龄治疗都会影响效果。

At the age of 7, this child underwent early functional orthodontic treatment for a gummy smile caused by excessive upper jaw growth. Her treatment included arch expansion and wearing headgear for two years.

Five years later, she returned for a follow-up—and she had grown into a beautiful young lady!

A gummy smile needs to be treated at the right age. Starting treatment either too early or too late may affect the outcome.

前天，小孩病人妈妈给小编看了小孩练习演讲故事比赛的视频🥹

八个月前，五岁孩来找小编做早矫治疗，因为一些说话问题，在学校和朋友起争执。早期评估时发现孩子的发音非常不准，也有严重牙床狭窄的问题。除了建议妈妈带孩子去接受语言治疗，也决定为他进行牙床扩弓，让舌头活动空间更充裕。

虽然妈妈最后没有带他去接受语言治疗，经过一段时间的牙床扩弓，简单的肌肉训练，现在看到小孩要去参加演讲故事的视频，和一开始口齿不清的他相比，真的。。。是欣慰的感受吗？不知道😂
当然不是每个语言障碍的孩子都跟牙床狭窄有关，可以进行早期牙床评估来确认。

If your child has a deviated jaw, it’s worth having them evaluated for early orthodontic treatment. In some cases, treatment during the primary (baby teeth) stage, together with simple orthodontic appliances, can gently guide the jaw into a better position as your child grows.

Early intervention may help reduce the need for more complex treatment later on. If you notice your child’s chin shifting to one side or an uneven bite, don’t hesitate to arrange an orthodontic assessment.
