Our patient, Rogelio, shares his experience at Four Dental and reflects on the emotions he experienced throughout his journey toward a new beginning.

Following a comprehensive examination and diagnostic work-up—including CBCT imaging, 3D intraoral scanning, digital radiographs, and clinical photography—we determined that the long-term prognosis for Rogelio’s remaining teeth was poor. After discussing the findings and treatment options, we developed the following treatment plan.

Upper Arch

* Extraction of the remaining teeth
* Bone recontouring (alveoloplasty)
* Placement of five conventional dental implants
* Placement of one pterygoid implant
* Immediate fixed provisional prosthesis

Lower Arch

* Extraction of the remaining teeth
* Bone recontouring (alveoloplasty)
* Placement of six conventional dental implants
* Immediate fixed provisional prosthesis

The procedure was performed under conscious intravenous (IV) sedation, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience throughout the treatment.

At the conclusion of the procedure, Rogelio left with a renewed smile and restored confidence, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his life. He will now undergo a six-month healing period to allow for proper osseointegration of the implants with the surrounding bone.

Denver underwent a thorough examination, along with our full diagnostic process, including a CBCT scan, 3D dental scanning, dental photography, and a clinical evaluation.

After careful assessment, we determined that his upper teeth could be restored with dental crowns, preserving his natural teeth. As a first stage, we placed PMMA temporary crowns to restore position and form, while also improving tooth color. These temporary crowns helped us refine his bite, which had been affected by missing teeth in the lower arch—regaining balance and restoring oral function while his dental implants healed.

On the lower arch, we determined that the remaining teeth could not be predictably restored. For the long term, we recommended the All-on-Four treatment. Extractions were performed, and four implants were placed successfully, providing the stability needed for immediate loading. Denver was sent home on the same day with temporary teeth fixed to his implants.

Immediate loading supports a more comfortable healing process, improving oral health and quality of life from the very first visit.

Our dear patient Carol came for annual follow up appointment. In this follow up appointments we give maintenance to prosthesis over implants, which includes X-Rays ,cleaning, polishing and making sure every screw is tight and torqued.

Complex case where we had Maxillary Sinus limitations which made difficult to make a conventional All on 4 or All on 6 technique.

Maxillary Sinus Lifting and Bone Graft were not a viable option due to times of healing, which will make our patient be without functional teeth for over a year.

The case was resolved with the placement of:
2 Zygomatic Implants
1 Pterygoid Implant
2 Conventional Implants
1 Transinusal Implant

This technique (PATZi), gave us the correct support and anchoring to be able to offer our patient immediate functional teeth right after surgery. This way our patient was able to recover his teeth and confidence since day 1 without having to wait over a year with uncomfortable dentures and extra surgeries.

Patient will be coming 4 months after to replace his Temporal PMMA prosthesis for a permanent Titanium-Zirconium prosthesis.
