¿Cuál es la palabra más difícil de pronunciar en inglés para un español?

Más que palabras, yo me enfocaría en las consonantes y vocales. Hay varias consonantes y vocales del inglés que no existen en español, por lo tanto, aquellas palabras que contengan esos fonemas serán de difícil pronunciación para los estudiantes.
Por ejemplo, indico algunas consonantes que no se utilizan en español y que aparecen en varias palabras:
- /ʒ/ fricativa postalveolar, en palabras como "usually" /ˈjuːʒuəli/, "exposure" /ɪkˈspəʊʒər/ o "mesure" /mɛʒər/; que los hispanohablantes no familiarizados con estas consonantes suelen pronunciar /'usuali/ o /u'suali/, /ex'posiur/ y /'mesur/ o /'mesiur/ respectivamente.
- /ŋ/ nasal velar, en palabras como "uncle" /ˈʌŋ.kəl/, "tank" /tæŋk/ o "language" /ˈlæŋɡwɪdʒ/, que los hispanohablantes inadvertidos dicen /'unkle/, /'tank/ y /lan'gwitʃ/ respectivamente.
- /dʒ/ alveolar oclusiva más fricativa postalveolar, en palabras como "judge" /dʒʌdʒ/ o "badger" /ˈbædʒər/, que un español podría no tener escrúpulos en decir literalmente /'hudge/ o /'badger/.
Así mismo vocales como la famosa vocal schwa /ə/, en palabras como "about" /əˈbaʊt/, "father" /ˈfɑːðə/ o "mother" /ˈmʌðər/, que los hispanohablantes confunden con la vocal /a/, siendo muy distinta.
Otra vocal que se suele confundir con la shwa es la wedge, o cuña en español, que se simboliza fonéticamente como /ʌ/. La diferencia entre la shwa y la wedge es muy sútil, solo oídos acostumbrados a pronunciar estas vocales las distinguen. Como referencia, la vocal wedge, /ʌ/, se halla en varias palabras que en la sílaba inicial llevan la letra "u". Por ejemplo:
"gun" /ˈgʌn/, "sun" /sʌn/, "bunch" /ˈbʌntʃ/, "mumble" /ˈmʌmbəl/ o "crumble" /ˈkrʌmbəl/.
Otra vocal muy difícil de pronunciar por los aprendices es la /ɛ:/, que es una vocal semiabierta central, es decir que se produce en la parte central de la cavidad bucal y con una ligera apertura de los labios. Encontramos esta vocal en palabras muy comunes del inglés y que precisamente por ser comunes y de utilizarse ampliamente en ejercicios para estudiantes básicos se pronuncian mal con frecuencia porque muchos docentes prefieren avanzar en sus temas antes de dedicar tiempo a corregir estos errores iniciales, que luego se fosilizan y dificultan la comunicación apropiada de los aprendices. Entonces, la vocal /ɛ:/ la encontramos en palabras como:
"care" /kɛ:r/, "work" /ˈwɜːrk/, "determine /dɪˈtɜːrmɪn/, "her" /ˈhɜːr/, "burn" /ˈbɜːrn/, "turn" /ˈtɜːrn/ o "return" /rɪˈtɜːrn/.
Podría seguir con este tema, pero con lo dicho creo que es suficiente para dar una idea de las complejidades de la fonética inglesa y las dificultades que implica su correcto aprendizaje.

Let’s consider the question of low rates, so we're literally talking about coins today. Of course we encourage everyone to charge as high as they possibly can – a mixture of experience, stand-out-ability, relationship with clients, local market conditions (which vary enormously both between and within “markets”) and last but certainly not least: confidence.
But there have been times in the career of just about every translator when the wolf was at the door, and an offer they would normally have scorned began to seem just a bit more tempting. Times of lack of self-confidence, famine, the loss of a client etc.
And of course globalisation has played a role in all this.
At the beginning of my own career, I certainly took on texts at rates I wouldn’t now touch with a ten-foot pole. Have you done the same? Have you swallowed your pride and accepted lower rates? And can you understand the predicament of those who have the choice between putting food on the table and the proud choices we’d like to make?
