Gummy smile or “high smile line” is a condition characterized by excessive exposure of maxillary gingiva during smiling.
Etiologie:Altered passive eruption treated with a surgery in this case.
الابتسامة اللثوية أو "خط الابتسامة العالي" هي حالة تتميز
بالتعرض المفرط للثة الفكية أثناء الابتسام.
السبب:
تداخل اللثة المفرط على حدود المينا ، مما يؤدي إلى ظهور تاج سريري قصير ، مما يعطي إحساسًا بأسنان مخفية.

This patient presented into our clinic complaining about her smile. After analyzing her smile, 4 defective PFM crowns (12-11-21-22) were found with swollen gingiva. Clinical and radiographic examination showed that she needs surgical crown lengthening and replacement of the old crowns. Surgery was done, followed by temporarization for 6 months with a home-bleaching process, then cementation of 4 new layered zirconia crowns in collaboration with dr with a 6 months follow up. @ Dentasmile
