We proudly announce the signing of our latest Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Minish Technology & Robots and Design.

Robots and Design have signed a MoU with Minish Technology for mutual benefits based on a shared vision to collaborate in the development activities of single-visit dentistry.

Through this partnership, Minish Technology will provide Minish clinical data, and Robot & Design will use this to upgrade 'Chairman 5X' and supply its chairside milling machine.

'Chairman 5X' is an essential chairside dental milling machine for single-visit treatment that completes prosthetics such as crowns, inlays, onlays, veneers and bridges in less than 15 minutes.

In addition, Minish Technology expects to accelerate the development of Minish-specific milling machines. ‘Minish’, a premium tooth restoration solution, currently mills the restoration up to 0.3mm and then manually processes it down to 0.1mm. Both companies are developing a machine exclusively for MINISH that can cut down up to 0.1 mm without undercuts using a milling machine alone.

An official from Minish Technology said, “With this business agreement, we have secured competitiveness in the equipment manufacturing field,” and added, “We will create a more sophisticated milling machine based on over 150,000 Minish clinical data and scan data.”

Robot & Design is the No. 1 company selling semiconductor robots in Korea. It entered the dental field in 2008 by utilizing its know-how in manufacturing semiconductor robots supplied to Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.

One-step milling is the key to the future success of every Dental Laboratory! KDTEX 2022 proves that!

Robots and Design (MAXX) DS200-5Z (5-axis dry milling machine) and DS200-4WX (4-axis wet milling machine) caught the attention of a lot of leading dental laboratories, dentists, and other dental professionals at the Korea Dental Technology EXPO & Scientific Conference 2022. More than 5000 people and 81 companies participated in this event!

One-step milling technology allows dental laboratories to do milling custom abutments and crowns without the need to scan abutments. The production stage is reduced and it saves a lot of time with the best accuracy.

Our engineers and sales managers consulted dental professionals about the latest dental milling technologies. Customers of Robots and Design (MAXX) are interested to increase their production capacity by adding more machines. We also got referrals from customers, KOLs and were introduced to the new dental laboratories, which in the following months will be starting to use MAXX dental milling machines.

We are launching a new Premium Aligner Trimming machine with an automatic loader system.

Model: DM200-5AT
5-axis, dry aligner trimming machine.
Milling Time: 30 Seconds

Workflow:
1. Design 3D STL Model with 3 holes at the bottom
2. 3D Print Model
3. Thermoform using specific fixture (Ministar, Biostar compatible)
4. Print QR Code and attach
5. Put up to 18 aligners inside a loader
6. Press Start

Software workflow:
1. Create Trim line (PTS file)
Compatible: 3Shape, Maestro 3D Version 6, Rhino 7, C4W, Nemocast
2. Create NC file using Go2CAM software (Included in a Machine package)
3. Transfer NC files to Machine Embedded PC
