To those who DM me for dental appointments:
I try my best to answer them and set up an appointment right off the bat, yet sometimes there are cases I get aware of them a little too late. I feel bad for delays and late responses.

Instead, here is the first principle that will come in handy:
You can simply walk in to my clinic and most of the times we are ready to call you in for exams before 10 mins of waiting. So you don't have to wait for my reply(though I will answer them ASAP at all times), just take the initiative and head yourself in. We will do our best to minimize not just your pain but also waiting.

As an instructor of SNU school of dentistry(division of anatomy of tooth, head and neck, 6 solid years as of now), I am enjoying wonderful opportunities to teach top-notch Korean students.

A couple of years ago I happend to make a video of waxing up a tooth model for educational purpose. There are more of them, but for now here it is.
(I uploaded these vids on YouTube as well for accessibility.)

This is what dental students stumble upon the moment they enter the school, basically cranking up from scratch.

This patient was undergoing an orthdontic treatment, and on the verge of big decision whether to give it a try to pull out an impacted(deeply) canine or simply extract it. As seen in the x-ray view, it seemed like not only impacted, but a cystic formation at the crown follicle was also suspected. Finally decided to give it a shot and opened the window. cleaned out the cyst around the crown and put a button on it to begin a tug-o-war. 7 months later, thankfully the tooth has come out to the ideal position and well aligned owing to bracket magic. :) Feels great.

Here's another patient with anterior veneering. She was feeling bad about her front teeth in the sense that they are discolored, abraded, and misaligned. It took quite a while since one tooth was pulled out and implantation was conducted. I like the way it proceeded. Apart from anything else, she liked them!
