Present for Parents Who Can't Enjoy Holiday Food, 'Implant'

Mr. Mingi Kim (34y/o, freelance) who lives in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul, is more than excited about the coming Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving). While spending chuseok with his parents, Mr. Kim was upset that his mother, Mrs. YoungJa Park (63y/o), had difficulty eating delicious food due to her damaged teeth. Celebrity trend, Bimaxillary Surgery is simple? Many Precautions

Bimaxillary surgery, a new trend in plastic surgery among celebrities is raising yet another standard of beauty which was established by previously wide-spread procedures such as rhinoplasty and eye surgeries.

Last year a male Korean comedian had to get bimaxillary surgery due to his health condition. The way his look changed became a hot issue to the public. Later another female Korean comedian used bimaxillary operation due to her malocclusion.

Also, not a long time ago another male Korean celebrity confessed that he was finally able to experience the “the freshness of the pickle while eating noodles,” which was something he wasn’t able to do before the bimaxillary surgery.

However, recently celebrities have been turning towards bimaxillary surgery for their careers rather than medical reasons. They use it for change in their looks while developing new acting persona.

“Bimaxillary operation” stands for simultaneous operation on upper and lower jaws to correct protruding mouth, short chin, protruding chin, etc. It is known for being one of the difficult surgeries as human jaw is surrounded by numerous nerves and blood vessels. Thus, when first introduced, it was not used for the patients who simply sought to improve their looks. However, as the demand for this surgery is rising from the public, it is troubling that reckless ex*****on of the procedure in some clinics can cause damage to the health of patients.

Toothpaste takes a crucial role in maintaining our dental health. However, anything used improperly may become poisonous!

Lets take a look the pros and cons of toothpastes.
Toothpaste consist of chemicals that build a thin protective layer on the surface of the teeth, helping them fight of any attacks from bacteria or acid materials.
HOWEVER, we have to keep in mind that since toothpaste is purposefully made for cleansing, clean breath, and whitening, it does consist of many chemicals.
Although toothpaste may help in improving breath smells, the surfactant inside the toothpaste may cause dryness in the mouth, which may induce bad breath smell.
Also the abrasive chemicals in the toothpaste and the fluorine component may cause further damage to the teeth and, if swallowed, may increase the chance of stomach damage.
Used properly it will be your friend. Make sure you use a corn-size of toothpaste and gargle thoroughly at the end!

FILLINGS PROS/CONS

CAVITY
Cavities are erosions on teeth caused by decomposition of sugar and starch left inside the mouth. If not treated in advance, cavities may cause damage to the nervous system and will require advanced procedures.
Like we have covered in the earlier post, cavity pains are very subjective and some may not even cause pain unless progressed deep into the gums.
Make sure you get regular checkups from the dentist in order to prevent spending more time and money than needed!

CAVITY TREATMENT
After a thorough diagnostic workup, the area around the cavity is eliminated. Depending on the material used for filling, the amount of elimination will defer. The eliminated area is scanned/modeled to manufacture the filling. While the filling is made, the patient will have temporary filling in order to prevent any damage during the wait. Once the filling is produced, it will be secured inside the teeth. There will be a follow-up appointment afterwards for evaluation.

Usually people relate Cavities with black teeth, but it’s not exact.
Initially, when the teeth decompose due to acid, it looks yellow. As it progresses, a protective layer of dark matter forms on the teeth and that is what we see. It is difficult to notice and so people miss the initial treatment period.
