발치 당일 임시틀니
상악 구강스캔(그림3)을 바닥면으로 하고 기존 덴처(그림4) 교함면을 이용해서 메쉬믹서에서 임시틀니(그림5)를 디자인하였습니다. 발치 당일 미리 준비해둔 틀니를 즉시 끼워드렸습니다.
발치부위 연성이장재를 추가 하였습니다.

(2) Pour tooth colored resin to the cavity.(Fig. 2)
(3) Mill the whole denture (Fig. 3,4)

" I found the trick to nest 2 different meshes in same location in . "


First, mill the tooth pocket only in a pink resin block.
Pour tooth colored PMMA resin to the hole.
Finally mill the whole denture.


(1) Nest Mesh 4 (for example, mesh file name is "c:/Mesh4.stl".) and select block. Do Not Move mesh anymore. Save. (Fig.1)
(2) Exchange existing mesh files (for example, mesh 3 file is renamed to "c:/Mesh4.stl")
(3) Reload project. Then you can find the change of meshes. (Fig.2,3)
(4) Draw user define line around tooth pocket. (Fig.4)
(5) Calculate toolpath (Fig.5) => Make 1st NC file
(6) Restore original Mesh 4 file as opposed to procedure (2)
(7) Reload project and check mesh to change. (Fig.7,8)
(8) Draw user define lines on base bottom not to leave under cut. (Fig. 9)
(9) Calculate toolpath => Make 2nd NC file

(1) Scan final impression by Medit (Fig.1) => Mesh 1
(2) Register impression to existing denture (Fig.2,3)
(3) Leave the base and erase the teeth (Fig.4,5)
(4) Close the holes (Fig.6) => Mesh 2
(5) Make holes and grooves and festooning in Mesh 2 (Fig.7)
=> Mesh 3 (base only)
(6) Union Mesh 1 + 3 (Fig.8,9) => Mesh 4 (base+teeth)

(1) Apply adhesive to border (Fig.1)
(2) Border molding by medium bodied impression material
(3) Remove excess impression out of border and trim pressure points.
(4) Apply adhesive to center
(5) Take impression with light bodied impression material
(6) Repeat (5) procedure to achieve the negative pressure
