A mandibular anterior case ( #33–43) by Dr. Jae-seok Kang, Yedam Dental Hospital, Korea.

In this single implant case, the initial stability (ISQ) was an excellent 81, so he confidently proceeded with immediate loading. However, due to the patient's exceptionally strong chewing force, the temporary crown became loose and started wobbling after just 10 days!

Fortunately, thanks to strict prior warning to the patient —"Come back immediately if it feels loose"—allowed us to intervene and replace it with a longer fixture before severe bone loss occurred. He then waited a month and applied meticulous 'occlusal control' for the second loading by reducing the crown's width and removing the cusps to minimize bite force.

Despite the initial setback, the final restoration was successfully completed within 3 months! For immediate loading, precise occlusal adjustment and patient education are just as critical as high ISQ numbers. Watch Dr. Kang's clinical tips in the video!

Hear from Dr. Okita from Hyogo, Japan! 🇯🇵 We caught up with him during the ‘Full-Arch Visit Seminar’ held at the DIO Headquarters in South Korea (Sept 10-13).

Like many clinicians, Dr. Okita initially felt that Full-Arch procedures might be too complex. However, after experiencing our hands-on training, he gained the confidence to successfully implement it in his own practice! 🙌
