Nairobi Endodontics and Implant Centre (NEDIC) was established after identifying the need for specialist dental care for patients with endodontics diseases and those needing replacement of teeth using dental implants. Over 85% of our population has one form or another of endodontics disease. Over 15% of the people have severe form of endodontics disease that results to tooth loss hence requiring d

ental implants. There are few endodontics and dental implant specialists in the country numbering less than ten (10) for a population of over 40 million. It follows that the standard of care in this field is wanting necessitating the need for dedicated facilities for endodontics and implant care. It is the recognition of this immense gap in quality and appropriate care that has been the inspiration for the establishment of NEDIC.
