Shouldn't have because it changed my entire life and my family's lives.

I got to accept my life with Cerebral Palsy, realizing the barriers In the society making things difficult not necessarily my impairment.
Most times, I remember that I have a "disability" when others point it out. Not that I don't count it, I count it as one of my characteristics, not the entirety of the lovely lady I am.

See the person first and the humaneness of the person with every need to be known, listened to, seen,understood, loved and valued In every single way.
With every encounter, remember that.
