In Loving memory of our mum Lizzie

So when I recently heard that the top student at Gathukiini Primary School was going to miss joining high school due to lack of school fees, I was broken. I remembered my story. Very similar to hers. And how good education through kindness extended to me has been the saving grace for our family.
Gathukiini Primary is my Alma mater. Coincidentally, Madam Lizzie schooled here too. I already have other such cases in my fold but I asked myself what would Lizzie do?
In her words, we rise by lifting others and sometimes it just takes one act of kindness to change someone’s life.
And so I did as our mum Lizzie would do. This is for Lizzie. In her honor. Rose Wangechi W and I committed to mentor and support her through her education. God always provides.
