こんにちは！
久しぶりの投稿になってしまいましたが、 #あやこデンタルクリニック 院長のあやこです。
先週は初めての試み。
2校から2名ずつ、4名の中学生が #社会体験学習 に来てくれました。4名は初めてだったのでわたしたちもドキドキ。
わたしたちの施設では、自分の歯形の模型づくり、むし歯菌の検査、歯ブラシ指導、口腔内写真などからまずは自分の口の中に少しでも興味を持ってもらい、口の健康の大切さを伝えています。また、治療の見学やアシスタント、型取りの材料を練る、器具のパッキング、模型の歯茎を縫うなど体験から歯科治療についても伝えています。
みんなとても真面目に取り組んでくれました。
学校教育の一環でこの様な取り組みをしている宇都宮市に少しでも貢献でき、未来を担う子どもたちに将来について考えるきっかけづくりになれることをとても光栄に思っています。
みんな、楽しんで少しは社会について、将来のお仕事について学んでくれたらとても嬉しいです😊

We had 4 middle school students coming in for internship last week! I went to middle school in America but there wasn’t such a thing. I’m so proud of being a part of this attempt to help educate kids 😊
We let them make stone models of their teeth, do saliva test to understand how much bacteria they have in their mouths so they will have some interest to their own mouth. Tell them how important it is to maintain their mouth healthy. We also let them see patients treatments and this time they experienced stitches to gum models.
Thank you to all the patients for their understanding to this attempt😊
I hope one day in future I see them become a splendid grownup 😊
