8-Month Titanium Mesh Removal & Implant Placement

After 8 months of healing following guided bone regeneration with a combination of autogenous bone and bovine bone graft, the titanium mesh was removed.

The result was excellent: stable, mature and beautifully regenerated bone, providing the ideal foundation for implant placement.

PTERYGOID IMPLANT: BYPASSING THE MAXILLARY SINUS

Severe posterior maxillary atrophy does not always require sinus augmentation.

In this case, a pterygoid implant was used to bypass the maxillary sinus and achieve posterior anchorage in the pterygoid region, allowing a fixed rehabilitation with immediate loading.
