A 35-year-old patient presents with a slowly enlarging, painless, well-circumscribed gingival mass arising from the anterior mandibular alveolar ridge.
Examination reveals a smooth, sessile, dome-shaped, reddish-purple to bluish lesion with intact mucosa and focal surface discoloration. The lesion is localized to the gingiva, potentially associated with chronic local irritation or calculus.
Dental radiographs may demonstrate superficial cupping of the underlying alveolar crest.
Histopathology reveals multinucleated giant cells within a hemorrhagic, vascular fibroblastic stroma.
