حالة حشوة جذر لمريض قد تعرض الى ضربة على السن القاطع الامامي ، تم الفحص والتشخيص بالاشعة وبدء العلاج و انتهت الحالة بجلستين فقط .
🦷 Trauma-Induced Endodontic Management | Maxillary Left Central Incisor
A patient presented with a fractured maxillary left central incisor following dental trauma. Clinical and radiographic examination revealed a periapical lesion associated with pulpal necrosis.
Treatment protocol: • Clinical examination and pre-operative periapical radiograph. • Access cavity preparation. • Thorough chemomechanical debridement using rotary instrumentation and irrigation protocols. • Persistent intracanal exudate prevented achieving a dry canal during the first visit; therefore, Meta Paste (calcium hydroxide) was placed as an intracanal medicament. • At the second appointment, the canal was completely dry and asymptomatic. • Master cone radiograph confirmed an accurate apical fit. • The canal was obturated using a single-cone technique with accessory gutta-percha cones, followed by a post-operative radiographic evaluation.
This case highlights the importance of effective canal disinfection and the use of intracanal medication when immediate obturation is contraindicated. Respecting biological principles is the key to long-term endodontic success.
