Case #125 : Rehabilitation of a Nursing bottle caries case under GA

Parents of a 2 year 4 months old child reported to our clinic with a complaint that their son is not taking food properly for the past 5 days because of dental pain. As the child is in his pre-cooperative age (generally children less than 5 years of age are considered in the pre-cooperative age group) he will definitely not co-operate for the treatment chair side. In fact he didn't open his mouth for a clinical examination. But somehow after persuading him, he opened his mouth and we found out that both his lower deciduous 1st molars had deep dental cavities with abscesses. Even his upper central and lateral incisors were decayed with pulpal involvement. There were some multiple small cavities for the other posterior teeth as well.

After thorough explanation for the parents, it was decided to do the dental procedures under General Anesthesia in an operation theatre. The patient was kept under oral antibiotics and analgesics and after the routine blood investigations and pediatrician evaluation were done the child was admitted for the procedure at Thanu Shree hospitals, Vijayawada. The dental procedures which include 6 pulpectomies, 4 anterior p**o Zirconia crowns and 2 posterior SS crowns were done by pediatric dentists Dr Abhiram Korikani and
Dr Anil Palakollu for almost 3 hours. The child was discharged the same evening after he completely recovered from the anesthesia. During the recall after 1 week, the parents expressed their happiness as their child could eat without any discomfort. 😁✌🏻

Case #124 : New esthetic crown brings back the lost self-esteem

A 28 year old patient reported to our clinic with a complaint of an ill looking old cap in the upper front tooth which resulted in poor self-esteem. On clinical examination, the patient had an old crown on the upper left central incisor which looked discolored and disfigured. And it also was an acrylic temporary crown which was placed 4 years ago. So a new esthetic Zirconia crown was placed, which not only enhanced the esthetics but also brought back the lost self-esteem.

Case #123 : When one of our old social media posts inspired a patient to get the similar treatment done 😉😁✌🏻

A 45 year old patient reported to our clinic with a complaint of a huge gap in his upper front teeth. On clinical examination, there is a huge midline diastema between the two central incisors.
This particular patient visited our clinic after looking at a similar diastema closure case in our social media handles. He wanted the same treatment procedure (instant closure of midline diastema with composites) and got it done instantly.
