A rare and highly complex dental case explained by Dr. AK Singh.
This case represents a 5–6 year journey of a patient who developed severe facial and oral complications following a black fungal infection during the COVID period.
After extensive treatment and resection, the patient was left with extremely limited bone support. Reconstruction required advanced planning, prosthetic rehabilitation and finally three zygomatic implants placed within the zygomatic bone.
