दांत में चोट लगने के बाद दांत का काला या गहरा रंग होना इस बात का संकेत हो सकता है कि दांत के अंदर की नस (पल्प) को नुकसान पहुंचा है।
मुख्य कारण:
दांत की नस का मर जाना (Pulp Necrosis) – चोट के कारण रक्त की आपूर्ति बंद हो सकती है, जिससे दांत धीरे-धीरे ग्रे, भूरा या काला दिखाई देने लगता है।
दांत के अंदर खून का जमना – चोट के बाद अंदर रक्तस्राव होने से भी दांत का रंग बदल सकता है।
दांत की जड़ में संक्रमण – यदि समय पर इलाज न हो, तो संक्रमण के कारण भी दांत काला पड़ सकता है।
क्या करना चाहिए?
जितनी जल्दी हो सके दंत चिकित्सक से जांच कराएं।
एक्स-रे करवाकर यह पता लगाया जाता है कि नस जीवित है या नहीं और जड़ में कोई समस्या तो नहीं है।
यदि नस मर चुकी हो, तो आमतौर पर रूट कैनाल ट्रीटमेंट (RCT) की आवश्यकता होती है। उसके बाद जरूरत पड़ने पर आंतरिक ब्लीचिंग या डेंटल क्राउन से दांत का रंग और मजबूती दोनों सुधारी जा सकती हैं।
ध्यान दें: हर काला पड़ा दांत निकालना जरूरी नहीं होता। कई मामलों में सही समय पर RCT करके दांत को वर्षों तक सुरक्षित रखा जा सकता है।
