When tiny teeth need big care 🦷💫

A young patient aged 4 years came in with pain and swelling in the upper back tooth region. Examination showed extensive decay affecting multiple teeth, including deep carious lesions and early surface involvement.

We performed pulp therapy for the affected teeth and protected them with stainless steel crowns, while restoring other areas with composite fillings.

Swelling reduced, function regained, and most importantly—a happy little smile restored ❤️

“They told her to grind two healthy teeth… just to replace one.” 😳
That didn’t sit right.

Patient came in with severe pain and facial swelling in the upper premolar region.
On further evaluation, the tooth was deeply compromised.

CBCT revealed a diffuse periapical infection with sinus involvement and loss of cortical boundary — clearly indicating a non-restorable tooth.

But instead of choosing a conventional bridge and sacrificing adjacent healthy teeth… we planned a more conservative, long-term solution 👇
✨ Atraumatic extraction
✨ Immediate implant placement
✨ Temporary crown to maintain aesthetics
✨ Final in-house ceramic screw-retained crown after healing
Result?
No damage to adjacent teeth.
