The Nance Palatal Arch/ Appliance is used to prevent upper permanent molars from rotating or moving forward after extraction(removal) of primary(milk)teeth or during your orthodontic(braces) treatment. Some patients wear the Nance Appliance while they are awaiting their permanent premolars to erupt into place. This Appliance is basically used to preserve the space available for Permanent teeth to erupt after the Extraction (removal) of Primary (milk) teeth due to some unfortunate reason.
This preservation of space ensures that your permanent teeth erupt in the place that they should instead of bucally or palatally which leads to appearance of "CROOKED TEETH".

Zirconia is a newer material for dental restorative treatments. It's a type of ceramic — or, in more specific terms, a zirconium oxide — that's stronger than porcelain and some metal alloys, and it gets fewer sharp edges from the normal "wear and tear" that happens over time. Zirconia crowns tend to cause less stress and damage on opposing pieces than their porcelain counterparts. The porcelain might act like sandpaper when rubbing against your other teeth and causing enamel erosion.
Zirconia crowns are BETTER ESTHETICALLY, STRONGER and SAFER on your opposing tooth compared to the Ceramic (Porcelain infused metal) crowns couterpart .

People with severe or advanced disease around their gums and the tissues that support their teeth are usually the candidates for "FLAP SURGERY".
What is FLAP SURGERY?
With this common procedure, surgeons make small cuts in your gum and lift a section of tissue back. Then, they remove tartar and bacteria from your tooth and from under your gums. The gums are sutured back, so the tissue fits firmly around your teeth.
If gum disease has damaged the bone surrounding your tooth root, your dentist might have to replace it the a Graft( "BONE GRAFT").
This procedure helps prevent tooth lose and may help promote natural bone regrowth.
