The Nance Palatal Arch/ Appliance is used to prevent upper permanent molars from rotating or moving forward after extraction(removal) of primary(milk)teeth or during your orthodontic(braces) treatment. Some patients wear the Nance Appliance while they are awaiting their permanent premolars to erupt into place.
