The patient came to us with intense pain in the filled tooth.
On examination,
Tooth #47 was found to be tender on percussion and radiograph showed periapical widening.

After removal of the old restoration and secondary caries, access to the pulp chamber was made.

Diagnosis: Pulp necrosis with apical periodontitis.

2 visit treatment was planned for the patient.

1st visit: Cleaning of canals + Calcium hydroxide dressing
2nd visit: BMP completed using #25 4% files neoflex files

On examination, spacing was observed. The teeth were small in dimensions creating a more spaced appearance.

All the possible treatment options were discussed with the patient.

Final treatment plan:
Root canal treatment in 5 teeth: 12, 22, 31, 41, 43
Canine to canine teeth in both the arches were prepared to receive zirconia crowns.

Multiple trials were made prior to cementation of the prostheses.

The most common doubt that most of our patients have is if it's absolutely necessary to get your wisdom teeth removed.

The answer to that question is NO.

However, most of the wisdom teeth do not have sufficient space to come into the mouth and end up causing pain and infection.

A 31 year old female visited our clinic with a problem of recessing gums, mobility and sensitivity in a lower front tooth.

A treatment of root coverage was advised after consultation with our panel periodontist .patil

Mucogingival surgery was performed under local anaesthesia.

1 month later, there is a considerable reduction in the mobility and the recession is cuffed with visible results.

A young woman conscious about her smile walked into our clinic.
The two front teeth had large dental cavities and that made her uncomfortable.

Root canal treatment was performed for both the teeth followed by Zirconia Crowns.

She walked in shy and conscious but walked out with a beautiful, confident smile. Mission Accomplished!!
