By now we are all aware of the various precautions that we need to follow to protect us, our family members and the society from the DEADLY VIRUS.
As your ORTHODONTIST, we would like to highlight/remind the precautions that need to be taken to avoid any emergencies as far as your braces are concerned. Since we are all at home under LOCKDOWN, there might be a tendency to forget these basic instructions, which might lead to discomforts.
1. avoid HARD foods like chikki, chana, etc.
2. Avoid STICKY foods like papad, caramel chocolates etc...
3. Avoid biting into pens, pencils, nails
4. Avoid biting into foods directly like apples, salads etc. Please cut them into bite sized pieces
MAINTAIN ORAL HYGIENE
5. Kindly BRUSH twice, at morning and at night, before hitting the bed. Use the INTERDENTAL brush too.
6. Continue your MOUTHWASHES as prescribed
If you experience any discomfort do warm salt water rinses.
