Recently we organised a small interactive session for kids in association with Total solutions Hyderabad where the kids got familiar with Dentists, A Dental Clinic and the importance of Oral Health.

The kids thoroughly enjoyed the session, and their oral check ups. All thanks to our wonderful pedodontist Dr Snehitha .snehitha

This is a fungal infection caused by a fungus - Candida Albicans , commonly seen in people who have been hospitalized for a long time.

Dry mouth, stress can be other factors.

It starts as white patch on your gums, cheeks or tongue which when scrapped can result in redness or bleeding.

Please visit your dentist to get it examined and get the right treatment. Do not leave it unattended for a long time.

😪Often patients come with a complaint of burning sensation in gums which is so severe that basic eating and drinking becomes a difficulty!

Along with this difficulty what really is distinct is redness in gums along with peeling of thin layer🥺

This condition is known as Desquamative Gingivitis and it is a symptom of underlying other mucocutaneous diseases.😐

This can also happen as an allergic reaction to any new dental product you've introduced in your routine or any new medication. Always give a through history to your dentist 🦷

To confirm the same your dentist will be sending a biopsy sample to confirm the underlying cause.
