# is the correct brushing time & frequency for everyone??

Your ans. is 2 minutes—2 times a day

The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends the 2/2 rule: brush for 2 minutes in the morning and 2 minutes at night with a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste. You could brush more often if you like, but the minimum for healthy teeth and gums is the 2/2 rule.

Now we guess,you have another doubt in your mind??!!🫤

Why brush for 2 minutes?

Here is your ans. --
The review found that brushing for two minutes removes around 41% of plaque, while brushing for one minute only removes 27%. And remember, flossing once a day is vital in keeping your teeth and gums healthy!

1.Why should we concern about the fact & what causes gingival pigmentation?

Ans.Gum color varies from person to person. Brown or Black gums and other changes in gum color can be caused by a medical condition, medication, smoking, or other lifestyle factors.Gingival pigmentation is caused by excessive deposition of melanin in the basal and suprabasal cell layers of the epithelium. Although melanin pigmentation of the gingiva is completely benign, cosmetic concerns are common, particularly in patients having a very high smile line (gummy smile).

2.How do you get rid of pigmentation on gums?

Ans.Depigmentation procedure. It is a periodontal plastic surgical procedure. The gingival pigmentation is removed/reduced or masked by various techniques.
