🦷MYTH OR FACT?
“If my toothache stops, my tooth must be healthy again.”
❌ MYTH!
Tooth pain can sometimes settle even when the underlying problem remains. In some cases, the nerve inside a badly damaged tooth may stop responding, but the infection or damage may still be present.
Remember:
• Don't ignore recurring toothache.
• Seek dental advice if pain returns, or if you notice swelling or sensitivity.
• Facial swelling with difficulty breathing or swallowing needs emergency care.
Less pain doesn't always mean the problem is gone!
