Ivoclar ceramic crown
Ceramic crowns are tooth coloured crowns mimicking the form, function and apperance of natural teeth. This is a porcelain fused to metal crown. Inside is a metal layer giving strength and support to the crown.

Three unit bridge
Done to replace missing upper first molar.
Criteria: Adjacent teeth need to be firm in order to provide support for the bridge.
Advantages: Pt gets fixed replacement for his missing tooth.
No need to remove at night unlike the removable dentures
Cons:
Adjacent teeth need to be shaped to recieve the bridge.
Adjacent teeth may require root canal treatment if decayed.
As with any prosthesis , periodic maintenance is necessary

Advantages:
1. Less radiation exposure while taking x-rays
2. Faster than conventional films, time saving
3. Easy to maintain patient records for future reference

Removable partial dentures

Used to replace few missing teeth, made up of acrylic material and usually with embedded metal clasps for extra grip. These dentures should be removed daily at night,stored in room temperature water, and should be cleaned daily with a brush and soap solution outside the mouth.
Pros: cheaper alternative to fixed crowns
Cons: need to be removed daily, cleaned.
Can hamper the speech in initial use.
Tends to break with fall.

A complete denture is a removable appliance used when all teeth within a jaw have been lost and need to be prosthetically replaced. In contrast to a partial denture, a complete denture is constructed when there are no more teeth left in an arch, hence it is an exclusively tissue-supported prosthesis.
