‘Change is inevitable but transformation is a choice.’
The seed of this very transformation was sowed back in December 2024 by .
It was that cold December morning between patients when she walked into my room, sat down, looked at me and said, ‘listen, we need a makeover at the clinic. A chic look, a matured look, and a vision that is in line with our experience, our demographic and our personality. I don’t know how we do it, when we do it but we’ve got to do it’
The next 4 months went into planning. Space management, choice of colours, structural changes, choice of contractor, the list was endless and the biggest hurdle? A 13 year practice with packed schedules.
Mid april was when the first hammer hit the wall. The days were frustrating with workers, patients and staff in and out of the working rooms. Machine drills sounds were compensated with loud instrumental music, the cleanliness had to be top notch in the midst of procedures and renovation & the constant rifts between our team and the team of workers were unavoidable and a part of our everyday schedule!
We finally completed by end of August. A place that reflects maturity, calmness and a sense of serious dentistry. From a single chair to 3 chairs today, touch screens & a lot of AI into work at this space, we know that we have made something beautiful!
Just like you know a child growing around you yet never realise how big they have become until one day you simply walk into their room, you look at them and say, wow! we created that thing!
Just like that, a year has passed and now when we walk into our clinic every morning, we say the same to ourselves,
‘Wow! we created that thing!’
