To doctors everywhere.
Saviours. Healers. Miracle workers.

Let's face it—the one thing we all truly fear is death.
The next closest is loss of freedom.
Freedom to love. To travel. To eat. To work. To play.
To live without limits.

Disease threatens that freedom.
If you've ever spent ten days in a hospital, you know.
Nothing forces introspection quite like illness.
Not a bench press, a marathon, not even a spiritual retreat.

Today let's respect these protectors of freedom.
Waging a lonely battle against ageing and disease.

A special breed of people who've dedicated years of their lives to understanding the human body. They traded comfort for commitment, certainty for sacrifice, and countless moments with family in pursuit of one goal:

To help people return home.
Back to their families, their lives, their dreams.

This Doctors' Day, I want to thank every doctor (too many to name) who has helped me survive many an ordeal on this journey.

From homeopaths to ayurvedacharyas, dentists to physiotherapists surgeons to physicians, every one of you has played a role in restoring not just health in the lives of millions, but hope in their hearts and minds.

As a society, we owe you something that can never truly be repaid.

A debt of gratitude.
