ers the B.D.S. & M.D.S. (8 Specialities) courses with an intake of 100 & 48 students, respectively. The college also offers additional short term courses in ental Lasers, Maxillofacial Prosthetic rehabilitation and a student exchange programme with Kings College London. It is a matter of pride that the college has its own peer reviewed international Scientific Journal titled ‘Universal Research Journal of Dentistry (URJD). The College has well planned infrastructure with specias classrooms, state of the art clinics & latest technological aids. All the Department and the OPD’s have been provided with optimum facilities to ensure valuable training to students and smooth treatment of patients. The students undergo various programmes under the guidance of highly qualified faculty. A unique feature of the college is the provision of various types of Laser and Digitalized Radiography in five Departments. A dedicated Implantology Centre is equipped with the latest equiments to cater to all the latest treatment using implants. An advanced verssion of CBCT machine & imaging software has been recently installed. The college has a well established library, with a widerange of books and electronic media from basic Medical Sciences to Dentistry and its super specialties. The Library also subscribes to a large number of National & International Journals. The College is committed to providing excellence in Dental Education and is engaged in fostering basic and applied research. Throughout the academic year, the undergraduate & Post-Graduate students are exposed to basic as well as advanced dental procodures invarious Specialities. it has infact been a tradition for ou students to scure ranks at the university level both the BDS & MDS courses. The college conducts various community dental health education & treatment camps especially in the peripheral and rural areas which are deprived of dental service facilities, through a mobile dental van. During the last one year we have conducted almost 60 camps where more than 10,000 patients have been examined. In addition we also have 7 satellite centre in & around Pune city. In all, the main endeavoure of the college has been to create a learning programme with the latest content and methodology and to put into practice what is the best.
