Another addition to the ‘Mohit and Stephen-pics- over - the - years ‘ collection. Absolutely delighted to meet Dr Stephen Chen this weekend in Chennai . From Copenhagen 2012 to Chennai 2026 , I’ve had the pleasure of meeting this GIANT of implantology at various implantology congresses ; each time being amazed by his humility, warmth, friendliness, openness to share knowledge and each time coming away enriched , motivated and inspired. Looking forward to adding to this UNIQUE picture collection in the years to come.

What a great 3 days in Gdansk, Poland with Kris and Maja! Absolutely amazing to go through an enriching and inspiring training program on guided implant surgery , digital dentistry and software based implant planning. It was a 2nd trip to their centre in less than 2 years and it was great to see the giant strides they have taken towards taking their practice to the next levels ! A sneak peek into Navigated implant surgery and robotic implant surgery was the icing on the cake ! guidedimplantsurgery Dental implants coDiagnostiX Experts Straumann India

Patients today no longer need to wait a few months , undergo multiple surgeries in order to receive fixed teeth on implants .
The advent of digital technology and advances in implants now allow us to give fixed teeth replacements in a few days - and that too with a single, simple surgical procedure.

The ITI Board of Mentors Meetings in Istanbul .. A great location on the banks of the Bosphorus and a wonderful day spent interacting with some great minds in the world of implantology. The Future Leaders program is taking off really well and shows immense promise in taking the ITI philosophy globally to youngsters (and oldies) ; making a huge impact !

Protocols Practice and Evidence - Part 1

It pays to take a moment and look at the evidence that drives our routine everyday procedures.

This 5 part series documents a simple case and highlights the science behind what we do .. or are supposed to do (at least)

The last picture enumerates some important factors behind the outcome and we will dwell on them on each episode of this series by going deeper into the case.

Quick dash into and out of Coimbatore for a lecture. A nice city , a nice setting , a nice lecture topic and a nice audience - all added up to a lively interactive session with the best implantologists from in and around Coimbatore. Thanks to the dentists and friends who travelled from afar to attend. Looking forward to ITI and implantology activity taking off 🛫 and soaring from here on..

Anatomic Healing Abutments (AHAs) placed in immediate implant sites allow tissues to heal predictably in ideal predetermined or customisable shapes. The scannable head allows direct scanning of the healing abutment and using corresponding implant libraries and Ti base abutments a restoration can be easily fabricated and delivered.
