The latest study shows that sharing a toothbrush, toothpaste, the same container for the brush and not changing the brush after the viral process, are all possible routes of cross-contamination of coronavirus.
So if you or anyone in your family and friends circle have gone through covid, once recovered, please make sure to change the toothbrush, tongue cleaner etc.
These can harbour the virus and is best discarded!!

What is your dentist expecting in these pandemic times?

1.UNDERSTANDING-Try and understand why your dentist is not doing aerosol(droplets of water mixed with saliva)producing procedures.It is for your own safety and safety of all the patients who are trusting us and visiting.Aerosol producing procedures are not permitted unless they are emergency.

2.PUNCTUALITY -something we take it too lightly.These are difficult times and mostly all dentists are visiting only if appointments are fixed.Be punctual.It saves lot of time and helps to maintain timings of other appointments.

3.EMERGENCY -visit only if your pain really needs attention and it is an emergency.we understand that you have lot of free time, but this is not the way to utilize it for completing dental procedures.the more you stay at home,safer you are.

4.NEED OF AN HOUR- dental profession is the most risky profession to work in these pandemic times.be understanding to your dentist who is wearing surgical gown with 2 masks and screen guard.😐its difficult to breathe sometimes.Its very uncomfortable. Be gracious about it that they inspite of having family at home are taking risks and doing emergency consultations.its not easy believe me.

Hoping these times will soon come to an end..take care everyone! Be safe.!

This is to inform that Dr. Kaushal's Dental Care and Implant Center in Blue Ridge Township, Hinjewadi has now resumed for treatment services.

Your safety is our top-most priority and we have following guidelines which we adhere to, to provide a safe experience.

1) Temperature check at the entrance.

2) Sanitizer would be provided at the entrance.

3) We request you to not overcrowd the waiting area and only the patient would be allowed upstairs for consultation.

4) Oxygen saturation would be checked before consulting.

5) Masks are mandatory.

6) All the surfaces and the floor would be cleaned with disinfectant after each and every patient.

7) All the surfaces, that are prone to be being touched, on the dental chair would be covered with plastic and be changed after each and every patient.

8) There is an air purifier installed for purifiying the air 9 times per hour.

9) All the clinic staff would wear cover-alls and face-guards, which would be changed before attending any patient.

10) Like before, we would continue to thoroughly sterilise everything.

11) After each procedure, the clinic would be disinfected with rapid g sachets (sublimable chlorine dioxide gas).

12) We request you to remove all jewellery, watches before coming for consultation. Avoid nail polish as it interferes with the recording of oxygen saturation levels. Please avoid going to public places before and after the treatment. Wear clean and dried clothes.

13) We request you to get your own handkerchief and pen.
