Many patients complain of spacing between the teeth. It's more unaesthetic especially if the gap is between two front teeth. Here is a similar case. She also has high upper labial frenum. The space closure can be managed by different approaches. Since this patient is working and wanted a quick solution instead of braces treatment, the treatment option given was composite restoration.

Ideal implant placement needs bone all around it. If deficient, the bone needs to be augmented using various regenerative methods. Depending on the available bone, the augmentation can be done with or without simultaneous implant placement.
This is a case of a patient who wants an implant prosthesis for missing lower front tooth. Clinical examination showed a small root piece located lingually at 32. CBCT confirmed the deficient host bone width (3.5mm). The root piece was extracted & bone was augmented using commercially available xenograft & collagen membrane. Planned for future implant placement.
