Elevated infection control standards include the thorough sterilization and disinfection of treatment rooms and instruments between each patient.
Preemptive patient screening: appointment rescheduling for any patient experiencing symptoms of an illness; in-office patient screening for symptoms prior to receiving treatment.
Continued adherence to standard sterile healthcare environment protocols including hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (e.g. gloves, masks, eyewear), respiratory hygiene / cough etiquette, sharps safety, safe injection practices (when applicable), sterile instruments and devices, and clean and disinfected environmental surfaces and common areas.
Installation of hand sanitization stations in waiting areas and frequent cleaning of high-touch common areas.

As kids grow, plan on routine dental checkups anywhere from once every 3 months to once a year, depending on your dentist’s recommendations.
Keeping sugary foods in check, encouraging regular brushing and flossing, and working with your dentist will all contribute to your child’s good dental health😊

We all know the old age that no matter how plain looking a person may be, he or she becomes beautiful when he or she smiles. A bright smile makes a person appear pleasant and attractive, and a lot of positive personal traits are associated with radiant smiles. Smiles also convey happiness and are by nature infectious.
But not all people are capable of smiling openly with the lips parted to display teeth. Most of these people hesitate to do so because of the condition of their teeth. They may be crooked, missing, protruding or discoloured.

It is possible that people with discoloured teeth or those that are experiencing any other problems with their teeth may become reserved and held back by their dental problems. Because of their hesitation to smile with an open mouth, these people with discoloured teeth may give off the wrong impression.

Teeth whitening can boost a person’s confidence
A person with discoloured teeth – or any other dental problems – can turn to his or her dentist for help. Teeth whitening is seen as a viable and safe solution that a person can have to improve the quality of his or her smile.
As a result, the person who has benefited from dental whitening will be able to smile more freely, with shiny teeth displayed between parted lips.

Having confidence in one’s self is important if a person wants to succeed in his or her chosen career. Going on 3 years, hoping for many more!

We are happy to announce that Dr Poonam's Oracare dental clinic turns 3 years old! We have enjoyed serving our patients and are so appreciative of all the wonderful relationships we have established. We thank all of you for the support and trust, as we continue to grow and serve this community.

Over the same past 3 years, there have been many changes and advancements in dentistry. At Dr Poonam's Oracare dental clinic, we thrive to utilize the latest technologies to make dentistry more comfortable, durable, efficient and natural-looking for our patients.

We would like to take this opportunity to formally thank everybody for their continued support on our journey, from our existing patients to patients who have referred their family and friends. We would also like to extend a warm welcome to all our new and future patients.
