Pain or a zing with hot or cold drinks can be a sign of worn enamel, gum recession, a cavity or a small crack in the tooth. It often starts small and gets worse when ignored. An early check can find the cause and keep the treatment simpler.

Meet our most senior and most respected mentor, Dr. Sanjay Kalra 🦷✨

For Dr. Kalra, creating perfection is a passion. An alumnus of New York University and an internationally certified clinician, he has built his reputation by leading by example, adopting the latest technology and treatment techniques while always staying true to the ethics of dental practice.

A true pioneer, he:
🔹 Introduced implant practice in the country
🔹 Was the first in India to train and work on the CAD/CAM CEREC machine
🔹 Was the first to use Dental Lasers and Nobel Clinician software for virtual implant planning

A guest speaker at many national and international conferences, he conducts hands-on courses on the latest advancements in dentistry. He has 22 scientific publications as first author, serves on the advisory board of the journal of IPS, and was chief editor of the Indian Journal of Oral Health at BRS Dental College & Hospital.

A teacher at heart, he also brings out free publications to educate the public about oral health, including the annual magazine UTKARSH, the newsletter Trigon Times and treatment brochures. His articles appear in newspapers and magazines and online.

His heart is in service. A dedicated member of Rotary Club Chandigarh Midtown, he gives generously in cash and kind and regularly joins health camp missions in China. Closer home, he provides:

💛 Checkups and oral health talks in schools
💛 A yearly oral health and wellness fair

Away from the clinic, he is an ardent traveller and art lover with a unique collection of masks and plates gathered from his journeys. His terrace garden has won the Best Garden Award for fourteen years in a row, and his passion for photography led to the coffee table book Expression beyond Impressions.
