🦷 FREE DENTAL CHECK-UP & AWARENESS CAMP | World Oral Health Day 2026 🌍

To commemorate World Oral Health Day 2026, Shraddha Foundation, Nagpur in collaboration with Ranjeet Deshmukh Dental College & Research Centre, Nagpur organized a Free Dental Check-up and Oral Health Awareness Camp on 20th March 2026 at Shraddha Tuition Classes, Juni Shukrawari, Reshimbagh, Nagpur.

🎯 Objective:
To promote awareness about oral hygiene and provide accessible dental care services to the community.

👨‍⚕️ Guidance & Leadership:
The camp was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Abhay Kolte (Dean) and Dr. Venugopal Reddy (Chairperson, NSS Committee).

👥 Impact:
✔️ Around 120 students benefited from free dental screening
✔️ Evaluation of common conditions like dental caries, periodontal diseases & oral infections
✔️ Personalized guidance on preventive oral healthcare practices.

🤝 Team Effort:
The program was efficiently conducted by Dh. Vivek Khobragade (NSS Assistant Program Officer) along with dedicated interns Miss Krutika Tabutwale, Miss Kanchan Bahad, and Miss Hish*ta Akre.

🙏 Special thanks to the supportive members of Shraddha Foundation—Shraddha Jain, Bhavana Jain, Rishabh Jain, and Ishant Jain—for their valuable contribution in making the camp a success.

🎭🎭SKIT FOR PUBLIC AWARENESS | World Oral Health Day 2026 🎭🎭

On the occasion of World Oral Health Day 2026, the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Ranjeet Deshmukh Dental College & Research Centre, Nagpur organized an engaging street play on 9th April 2026 at Sitabuldi Metro Station, Nagpur from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

🎯 Objective:

To spread awareness about the importance of oral health, preventive care, and to break common myths and taboos surrounding oral hygiene.

🎭 Highlight:

A powerful skit performed by our interns captured public attention and effectively conveyed key messages on:
✔️ Proper oral hygiene practices
✔️ Importance of a healthy diet
✔️ Consequences of neglecting oral care
✔️ Busting common misconceptions.

👥 The program witnessed an enthusiastic response from the public, making it a successful initiative in promoting positive oral health behavior.

🦷✨ COLLAGE COMPETITION – World Oral Health Day 2026 ✨🦷

The Department of Public Health Dentistry, Ranjeet Deshmukh Dental College & Research Centre, Nagpur, successfully organized a Collage Competition on 24th March 2026 at its adopted school, ZP School, Amar Nagar, Nagpur, to celebrate World Oral Health Day 2026.

🎨 The competition was conducted for students of 6th and 7th standard on the theme:

“A Happy Mouth is a Happy Life.”

Students enthusiastically participated and showcased their creativity through vibrant and meaningful collages, beautifully highlighting the importance of good oral hygiene and its impact on overall well-being.

🏆 A total of 24 students participated, and the top 3 entries were awarded First, Second, and Third prizes after careful evaluation.

👏 The activity proved to be an engaging platform to spread awareness about oral health among schoolchildren while encouraging creativity and learning.

🦷 Oral Health Awareness Rally | NSS Initiative 🦷

The NSS unit of Ranjeet Deshmukh Dental College & Research Centre, under the guidance of the Department of Public Health Dentistry, successfully organized an Oral Health Awareness Rally on 24th March 2026 at Gram Panchayat Dugipar, District Bhandara.

This initiative was conducted in celebration of World Oral Health Day (20th March), aiming to spread awareness about the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene for overall health and well-being.

A total of 51 enthusiastic NSS volunteers actively participated, carrying informative placards and hoardings highlighting key messages such as:

✔️ Regular brushing habits
✔️ Healthy dietary practices
✔️ Importance of routine dental check-ups

The rally was graced by the presence of respected Sarpanch Mrs. Kirantai Hatwar and eminent social worker Shri Chandrakant Ganvir, whose encouragement motivated all participants.
Volunteers interacted with community members, spreading awareness about preventive care, early detection, and the significance of oral health as a vital part of general health.

MIND SPA at RDDCRC Nagpur wasn't just an event — it was a room full of students and faculty finally exhaling. Mental reset, stress relief techniques, inner peace tools. All in one morning session on April 13th. By Dean Dr. Abhay Kolte & Vice Dean Dr. Mukta Motwani.

Dr. Sushil Gawande (HOD Psychiatry, NKPSIMS) delivered real stress-relief strategies for everyday life. Dr. Jayashree Joshi guided the room through mindfulness and inner peace restoration.
