Back during PGI counselling, when I had to choose between Orthodontics and Paediatric Dentistry, my friends “guided” me away from the latter.
They knew me well enough to know that I wasn't particularly fond of kids. 😂
Fast forward to 2026, and here I am — treating more kids in my practice than I had ever imagined I could handle. Hope they are enjoying my company too! 🤷
Over the years, working with children has taught me to see things a little differently. Their candidness, unfiltered curiosity, and ability to find joy in the simplest things can be a refreshing reminder not to take life quite so seriously. Sometimes, I wonder who is learning more from whom.
Life has a funny way of changing you along the way.
Or perhaps, of proving your friends wrong. 😄
