Deep Bite is a condition in which the Upper and the lower teeth Overlap each other in a very unfavourable position.

If left undetected it can cause severe retardation of the growth of the lower bone the mandible which can cause unfavourable growth of the face and the jaws.

The teeth can show a typical malaligned pattern of the two upper front teeth the Central incisors sloping backwards and the next two adjacent teeth the Lateral incisors projecting forwards.

Treatment Options---->
Identifying the cause of this type of malocclusion is the key.

Between 8 to 10 years of age Myofunctional appliances can be used to correct the position of the jaws first and at later stage in life when all the permanent teeth erupt, the alignment can be taken care of.

With the advancement in Aligner treatment lot of complex cases can be treated in a single phase treatment rather than a two phase .

One such treatment alternative is the use of the Invisalign system.
