2022.. 🫶🏼

It’s the last week of 2022 and as is the the case each year, this time too it’s got me feeling all kinds of feelings.. mostly reflective, being present and staying grateful, always! ✨💫
Life can get chaotic but work (apart from family) helps me stay grounded.. so here’s the first in a slew of probably some more reels/posts/montages to come, dedicated to one of the more enjoyed, looked-forward-to & all-consuming parts of my life——> my work, my patients, my happy place!

Long running case, spanning almost 9 months. From more than 20 extractions, to multiple alveoloplasties, to many many hours of patient training/counselling to a nearly normal bite (pt is a habitual class 3 due to earlier terribly made prosthesis causing an improper bite)
Only once the tissues were taken care of, could we fabricate complete dentures for him.
It was an uphill journey from then onwards.

Treatment plan📋 is not just what you can deliver but at times it's that which you may deliver, to your best, to the patient within their certain amount of limitations with regards to time, expectations and resources etc.✔️💎

With that principle at work, we were able to deliver a healthy, gorgeous smile👑 onto this lovely patient's face with the help of-
●4-unit upper anterior pfm FPD ('bridge')
●Single tooth lower anterior RPD ('removable denture')
●And ofcourse, multiple sessions of scaling for better gum health and long-term sustenance of our prostheses.
✨
To say that she was ecstatic with her results would be an understatement, one that we couldn't have been happier to have helped her achieve.💕
It indeed turned out to be a sparkling diwali. 😁🎇
